Ace Flagg, the twin brother of touted Duke freshman guard Cooper Flagg, committed to play for Maine as part of the Class of 2025.

The brothers are Maine natives who began their high school careers in the state.

Cooper Flagg is about to start his freshman season with the seventh-ranked Blue Devils, having reclassified to start college a year early.

Ace Flagg, a 6-foot-7 forward, is not listed on 247 Sports’ rankings of the top prospects in the 2025 class. ESPN rates him as a three-star prospect. According to CBS Sports, Ace Flagg chose Maine over George Washington, Richmond, Florida Gulf Coast, St. Joseph’s and West Virginia.

The brothers previously played for Montverde Academy near Orlando, but Ace Flagg transferred to Greensboro (N.C.) Day School for the current school year.

Maine, which is coming off a 15-17 season, opens its 2024-25 campaign on Monday with a game at Duke.
