However, Reynolds confirmed that he already had much of the film mapped out in his head, including the use of the “Like a Prayer” song for the film’s climax.

“Before Wolverine entered the chat, it was largely gonna be the same motion-control sequence I’d been dreaming about, except my dance partner was originally COLOSSUS,” he wrote, noting how the latter “would have died in the preceding scene, launching Deadpool into a state of pure rage and revenge.”
