Goff nearly committed a turnover late in the half but was bailed out by the two-minute warning.

The Lions then used a little razzle-dazzle to score again with 29 seconds remaining in the half. Goff completed a short pass to St. Brown, who then tossed a lateral to Gibbs. The speedy running back raced 20 yards for the touchdown.

A personal foul penalty helped the Cardinals get into field goal range and the half ended on Matt Prater’s 42-yard field goal.

Murray was picked off in the end zone by Kerby Joseph early in the second half. Arizona also failed to pick up a first down after Goff was intercepted by Dennis Gardeck.

Arizona scored the first points of the half with 3:48 remaining on Prater’s 45-yard field goal. Murray’s 28-yard pass to Michael Wilson was the big play on the drive.

The Lions converted a key third-and-12 on Goff’s 18-yard pass to St. Brown. Goff’s 8-yard scramble picked up another first down and ended the contest.
